Parshas Emor 5780

A gitten erev Shabbos everyone! This week’s parsha is Parshas Emor. There’s a very interesting thing in this week’s parsha that my chavrusa pointed out to me last year. As we go through the pesukim speaking about the Chagim, there is a peh for pesucha, which means it is an empty space in the Sefer Torah, between Shavuos and Rosh Hashanah. What comes between those two Yomim Tovim? Tisha B’Av. So it’s brought by the tzaddikim that the Torah itself hints towards the fact that Tisha B’Av would happen and eventually be turned into a Yom Tov when Moshiach comes.

Hashem should bless us with the geulah shleimah swiftly in our days, and that we should merit the age of Moshiach as soon as possible.
